The hybrid powertrain is the main new highlight of the 4xe model, which otherwise is based on the four-door Wrangler Unlimited for the model year 2021.

High Hybrid Performance

The all-new hybrid powertrain is an impressive example of what modern EV tech is capable of. Pairing a 2.0L turbo gas engine with dual electric motors, the 4xe flies from 0-100km/h in a shade under six seconds.

 

The combined 375 horsepower output means this Wrangler always has plenty in reserve, while the mammoth 470lb-ft of torque means even the most challenging surfaces and gradients are traversed with ease. But the power doesn't come at the expense of high gas consumption. The 4xe has an electric-only range of up to 40km, while the fuel economy comes in at just 4.7L / 100km for city driving.

Advanced Infotainment

The 4xe's impressive technology continues into the cabin, where the infotainment systems are as advanced as you'll find on any family SUV. The touchscreen display spans either 7" or 8.4", with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto providing full smartphone integration.

 

Navigation is an optional extra, while off-road fans will enjoy the optional forward camera that removes the blind spot immediately ahead of the front wheels.

The 4xe is available with a strong set of safety features, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, and forward-collision warnings with automatic emergency braking.
